For eighty years, the legendary hero Gilgamesh has sat on the throne of the Uruk kingdom, after defeating the demon Druaga in his huge tower and saving the beautiful lady Ki from its clutches. You'd think everyone would be living happily ever after - but instead, the Tower has returned, and it's bigger than ever! So big, in fact, that entire cities have taken up residence on its vast floors... Attracting oddballs, weirdos and would-be heroes from across the land to pursue fame, fortune and rare loot inside the tower walls!

Drawing its inspiration from the hugely popular, 1980s arcade games of the same name, The Tower of DRUAGA is both a fast-paced fantasy story, and a finely honed send-up of the world of videogames. Filled with deliberately clichéd plot points, off the wall characters and hilarious situations, it's a series that can't fail to bring a smile to the face of any videogame player or fantasy fan.

The hero, Jil, is a young knight whose idealism and morality are matched only by his dumbness - and he's off on a quest to reach the top of the tower, accompanied by a rag-tag crew of companions and rivals. There's a cynical magician who wants to be famous, a cold-blooded archer who wants to revive his kingdom, a sorceress who just wants money and brand-name products... It's not exactly the Fellowship he might wish for, but it's all Jil's got as he aims to tackle the dangers of the Tower!
