Samurai Deeper Kyo

An ordinary medicine man holds trapped in him the soul of a deadly samurai known as Demon Eyes Kyo, who seeks a return to his own body.

The legendary battle of Sekigahara in the 1600s saw a face-off between two deadly and powerful samurai, one known as Kyoshiro, and the other known as Demon Eyes Kyo.

In the midst of this ferocious battle however, a meteorite unexpectedly crashes onto their battleground, leaving the two men's whereabouts unknown.

Years later, Kyoshiro, his memories lost, is found roaming the land as a simple medicine man. However, his encounter with a female bounty hunter causes an unexpected turn of events, and Kyoshiro realizes his enemy's soul - Demon Eyes Kyo – is now within him.

With Demon Eyes Kyo seeking a return to his own body, this leads to a search through the vast lands of feudal Japan, in a journey fraught with danger, monsters and more.
